What size

for my Galurin?

If you do not already know your head size, to avoid any disappointment before adopting your Galurin, you must measure it. Preferably use a seamstress's meter or, failing that, a tape measure, a string, a lace, etc. The measurement must be taken where the hat will rest, that is to say in the middle of the forehead and at the level of the back hump of the head ( normally 0.5 to 1 cm above the eyebrows and ears). Be careful, as in the photo, you must be able to pass a finger between the meter and your forehead.

If you are between two sizes, for greater comfort it is preferable to choose the larger size.

Please note that for the same size, each towel being unique, sometimes thin, sometimes thick, there are certain variations in the interior circumference.

Correspondence of the sizes offered:

  • S from 52 to 55 cm

  • M from 56 to 59 cm

  • L from 60 to 63 cm

How to take care

of my Galurin?

Your Galurin is handmade from vintage towels that are often over fifty years old. To ensure its longevity, I advise you to follow a few simple maintenance rules.

  1. Your Galurin can be machine washed at 40°, but try to wash it as infrequently as possible. Instead, favor localized cleaning and hand washing.

  2. After each wash, restore its shape as quickly as possible, air dry it and steam iron it once dry.

  3. Never pull on a protruding thread. Cut it delicately with small, sharp scissors..
